Why did Gordon Brown, the Chancellor at the time, give Tesco a 2p tax cut in the last budget? At the same time he increased tax by 3p on small businesses. This move seems to be void of any public motive? It's certainly not in the interest of the British public. Tesco are making billions every year, they're certainly not struggling to make ends meet. They corral most of their earnings to dodgy offshore outfits and avoid paying their fair share anyway. So why give them even more of a break?
Are their personal benefits for Mr Brown? Are Tesco secretly funding New Labour? Something is very amiss, that's for sure. As far as I can tell, New Labour is so indebted to Leahy's small-business-attacking, town-and-village-destroying, supplier-raping, public-health-threatening Empire Of Evil, aka Tesco, that they let them get away with all sorts:
- Massive corporation tax evasion
- Massive stamp duty avoidance
- Outright contempt for planning laws and process
- Failure to maintain food hygiene standards
- Selling dodgy petrol
- Aiding identity theft and fraud
- Price fixing
The list goes on. I can only imagine that Brown, Blair before him, and countless others, are getting some exorbitant pay-offs from the EOE. Meanwhile, the rest of us can carry on getting screwed sideways until we all work for either the government or Tesco. In fact, Tesco will have bought out the government by then ... I mean officially, not just bribed them all like they have now.
Bastards ... slimy bastards all over the world!
